Save the Dates for these Upcoming District Presentations
Please plan to join us for these important and engaging sessions to support parents and students in navigating their social and academic worlds.
-- Next Thursday, November 14, Millburn Police Detective and DARE officer, Alyssa Salemi, will provide information about current trends in social media and cybercrime, and how to prevent being a victim.
-- On Tuesday, November 19, I am excited to bring Joe Feldman, the author of Grading for Equity to speak to Millburn parents. His work on grading and equity are the basis of the adjustments we are making in our grading practices here. Please join us to hear him explain the benefits and advantages of following equitable grading guidelines. If you are interested in attending, please let us know here for our planning purposes.
-- Join me on Tuesday, November 19 for another community chat. I will share updates about district initiatives, but the focus will be on Mathematics and STEM, as the Directors will be there to discuss these areas of their expertise.
